If anyone told you that losing weight is an easy task, that person is the biggest liar in America.
But it can be done.
When you’re tired, and the last thing you want to do is lace up your sneakers for a run, just picture yourself so many pounds less than you are now.
Once that image sticks in your head, you suck it up and head to the gym.
All of those endorphins released during exercise are your body’s way of saying “This makes me feel good! Let’s keep doing this!”
And eating healthy/cutting portions has to be the hardest part (for me, at least). After a few weeks, though, your body will crave these healthier foods, and you’ll lose your taste for grease. Suddenly, a big bowl of garden veggie soup doesn’t sound so bad.
One more thing: Don’t get discouraged if you stay the same one week, or maybe gain a pound or two initially. As your body is changing, it’ll fluctuate a little bit, until it realizes what you’re trying to do. Remember that you got this :)
My name is Allie. I am currently a college student, 5’2 and 185 pounds.
My goal is to change that last bit of information.
I am aiming to lose 2 pounds a week, and I am following this through consistent workouts and a low-calorie diet.
I will post my daily food and fitness journals, so you (the reader) can watch my progress.
I hope this blog serves as an inspiration not just for me, but for anyone who is on the same journey as me :)
